Green tea extract comes from the leaves of the camerllia sinensis plant. The cardinal antioxidative ingredient in the green tea extract is green tea catechins (GTC), which comprise four major epicatechin derivatives, namely, epicatechin (EC), epigallocatechin (EGC), epicatechin gallate (ECG), and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). The main attribution in GTC is supposed to be EGCG，it is approximately 100 times more antioxidant-active than Vitamin C.
